I would completely endorse the candidacy of Joe Andreo as Scout Executive for Housatonic Council.
In my years as a board member and currently, as President of CT Yankee Council, Joe has been an indispensable member of our team. Joe was instrumental in leading us through the pandemic with online programming, engaging our youth to its Mission. His feedback was key as we had to prepare our Council for the impact both financially and reputationally in dealing with the bankruptcy. Emerging from both, Joe’s leadership put us on a path of not just recovery but growth as we recaptured our pre-COVID momentum more than a year ago and are on a double-digit membership growth pace moving forward.
Joe also leads our many efforts in improving not just our camping experiences but in infrastructure enhancements using monies from strategic property sales and development.
Joe is in a leadership position where he not only oversees initiatives but a team of staff responsible for much of our development and membership growth.
